First Steps Pediatric Therapy was created to support families during the most important years of development.

Founded by Dr. Marisa Linkroum, a pediatric physical therapist with over six years of clinical experience, the practice specializes in the treatment of infants and early childhood development. In addition to her expertise in pediatric physical therapy, Dr. Marisa Linkroum is a Certified Primitive Reflex Clinical Specialist (CPRCS). This advanced certification reflects specialized training in assessing and addressing retained primitive reflexes—early movement patterns that should naturally integrate as a baby develops.

Our mission is to provide expert pediatric physical therapy while guiding and supporting parents so they feel confident helping their child grow, move, and reach important developmental milestones.

At First Steps Pediatric Therapy, we focus on early movement, developmental milestones, and identifying concerns as early as possible. Through personalized guidance and targeted strategies, we help address challenges while also supporting healthy movement patterns that can prevent future developmental delays.
